When do you need an engineering office like EM-OUT?

You always need us when it comes to energy savings, cost reduction, legal requirements (e.g., EnEfG, EDL-G, or ISO 50001), or the use of government funding programs.

We are your ideal partner for:

  • Energy audit according to DIN EN 16247-1 – legally required for many companies and a prerequisite for funding
  • Conversion to energy-efficient technologies such as LED lighting in halls, offices, or production facilities
  • Energy Management and ISO 50001: Implementing a certified energy management system to sustainably reduce energy consumption
  • Application for funding – we support you with BAFA and BEG programs where an approved energy efficiency expert is required
  • Building simulation with modern software – for analyzing energy flows, planning renovation measures, and maximizing your savings potential
Are you approved energy efficiency experts?

Yes. Our team consists of approved energy efficiency experts who are registered in the energy efficiency expert list for federal funding programs (BAFA & KfW).

Is your energy consulting eligible for funding?

Yes, many of our services are eligible for funding through government grants such as BAFA funding or BEG funding for non-residential buildings. This allows you to benefit from direct financial support in implementing your energy efficiency measures.

Typical examples of eligible services:

  • BAFA funding for energy audits (voluntary) and the introduction of energy management systems according to ISO 50001
  • BEG funding for LED lighting and other individual energy measures in non-residential buildings
  • Funding grants for specialist planning, construction supervision, and sustainability reports directly related to energy efficiency measures

Important: Legally mandated services – such as the energy audit according to EDL-G – are not eligible for funding. Only voluntary measures that go beyond the minimum requirements are funded.
